The PACA region and more especially Saint Tropez and the Tourism sector are on the way to the sustainable development
The Var Chamber of commerce presented recently to the tourism sector professionals its new project called « itinéraire éco3 » (economies, ecology and eco-labels). This is a sustainable project supported by the PACA region, the State and the city of Saint Tropez.
Be sustainable is trendy right now but it is also the future. In the tourism sector, the customer will more and more go for an authentic holiday.
The idea is to convince the tourism industry professionals (hotels, restaurants, shop, companies…) to adopt a quality policy, a sustainable policy.
The aim is to make the professionals energy economy, find nearby supplies, improve cultural promotion, preserve the environment, and consume healthy products. Actions and initiatives are programmed and edited in a brochure called « Magestour ». It includes tips and advice to the professionals.
The reward for the professionals is not yet an eco-label but this project will improve the competed PACA region as a tourism destination.
Sustainable development … Do not miss the bus!
